Hey, I’m Andrey Chursov<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who am I?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Medicine 3.0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m the Founder & CEO of Datomics Group<\/a>, a stealth Silicon Valley-based AI biotech building cancer medicines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My mission is to make cancer a nonfatal disease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For 15+ years, I\u2019ve operated at the intersection of AI, bioinformatics, and clinical oncology, building end-to-end systems that translate complex biological data into clinical products. My work spans:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Computational oncology and research modeling;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Clinical-grade data and software infrastructure;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Production bioinformatics platforms;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– AI models for early cancer detection and drug response prediction;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Translational execution from early research to first-in-human trials of innovative therapies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I focus on closing the gap between discovery and patient impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previously:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– EVP of Science & Technology at Zephyr AI<\/em>, developing AI-enabled composite biomarkers for precision oncology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Head of Engineering & Data at PACT Pharma<\/em>, leading software, bioinformatics, infrastructure, and lab automation (LIMS\/ELN), and building the bioinformatics platform that supported personalized neoantigen-targeted T-cell therapy through Phase I. I was instrumental in PACT’s sale of select assets to AmplifyBio and the subsequent technology transfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Chief Development Officer at CureLab Oncology<\/em>, advancing a DNA cancer vaccine (p62\/SQSTM1) from preclinical development through completed Phase I\/IIa trials in patients with advanced solid tumors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Earlier research work at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Guardant Health, focusing on NGS pipelines, liquid biopsy, clonal hematopoiesis, and early cancer detection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m also a Limited Partner at AAL VC and an angel investor in early-stage AI, biotech, and digital health founders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First author of peer-reviewed publications in Nucleic Acids Research and RNA Biology; co-author on presentations at major cancer conferences: AACR, ASCO, SITC. Inventor of two patents in cancer diagnostics and therapeutics. Featured by Mother Jones, Kommersant, TechInsider, Postnauka, and Inc. Russia on AI in drug development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ph.D. in Bioinformatics & Computational Biology (Technical University of Munich, with distinction). Trained in ML\/CS at the Moscow Institute of Physics & Technology and the Yandex School of Data Analysis. Passed CFA Level I.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I write about Medicine 3.0, AI-driven personalized medicine, and biotech entrepreneurship. If you\u2019re building or investing at the intersection of AI and oncology, I\u2019m always open to exchanging ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am also keen to learn everything I can about reaching peak performance and maintaining it. Over the years, I’ve learned a lot about personal well-being, neuroscience, psychology, and human biology.
